Collection: Jess de Wahls

Originally from Berlin, Jess de Wahls  is now a bona fide lynch pin of the international textile arts scene. She creates hand-sewn portraits from recycled clothes and colourful embroideries, using figures and flowers to tackle issues from gender inequality to waste culture.

"With the current onslaught on women’s rights the world over, now more than ever before, we need to continue to grow our global sisterhood. What connects us, is our shared biology and the oppression and erasure we are facing because of it."
