Collection: Nina Edge

I’m a dual heritage artist & writer of Indian descent based in Liverpool. My work focuses on power relationships, and is designed to be understood by as many people as possible.  I trained in ceramic design, & became recognized for using craft to undermine Colonial narratives as part of the1980s Black British Art movement. Since then I've produced radical textiles, public art interventions and street performance. My work includes social collaboration, and activism - notably in housing, citizen planning & food access campaigns. This all runs alongside teaching, writing, making and exhibiting art work.
