"I wanted to create a piece that was immediately recognisable as a statement against violence against women, but that could also be worn in a more low key way. Each necklace is reversible with a text statement of ‘STOP VAWG’ on the reverse, and a graphic image on the front with a more subtle message. Some have hand prints , and some an image of the yarrow plant. The former represents the individuality of every woman killed, and the latter is, in the language of plants, symbolic of healing and love. These form a set of twenty-five limited edition pieces and are all in sterling silver."
