Sudie Rakusin "Soteria - Women Will Change the World" Kraft Paper Notebook

I chose Soteria as my partner in a group show, centred around pairing writers and artists. When Soteria began to sing/recite her magnificent poem, I knew I had found my partner! She was beautiful, and her work brave and bold. I wanted both her image and her words to be part of my piece, so I incised her poem behind her portrait. Since she calls herself an ‘Artivist’, I thought it was important to include.
